The Launch of the Association of Chinese Evangelical Ministry (TACEM) & Global Prayer Call

Greetings to all pastors, brothers, and sisters globally who care for the Chinese Gospel ministry and our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ, in the holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are Rev. Philip Siu Hok Woo and Rev. Hannah Chan. Looking back, the Lord led us to establish this ministry in Hong Kong in 1990 alongside Mr. Dong Tin Ming. For decades, we served faithfully on the frontlines of gospel ministry, theological discipleship, and disaster relief. We walked through the rubbles of the post-earthquake Sichuan to rebuild schools, and we journeyed deep into the rugged mountains of Lijiang, Yunnan, to pioneer independent frontline church planting.

However, in recent years, the political suppression against religious freedom by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has escalated heavily. In Hong Kong, the ministry we built from scratch over decades, along with a £2 million government reconstruction fund under our care, was forcefully infiltrated and unlawfully seized by political agents tied to the state. In Mainland China, many of our beloved co-workers and pastors have faced severe imprisonment for refusing to compromise their faith.

Pastor Li Juncai, whom I personally ordained, endured 5.5 years of hard prison for refusing to replace Christian slogans with political propaganda. Our close co-worker, Pastor Huang Yizi, was recently detained again simply for distributing audio Bibles, with the authorities repeatedly delaying his trial. Pastors like Wang Yi, Hu Shigen, Zhang Shaojie, Bao Guohua, and brother Cao Nan have all paid a heavy price of blood and tears for the Gospel.

Faced with such "unfounded" persecution and the urgency of these end times, we have resided in the UK for six years. Through tears and prayers, we have received a renewed, pure apostolic commission. We refuse to use any terms co-opted by state United Front departments. Today, we are officially launching the global headquarters of the Association of Chinese Evangelical Ministry (TACEM) in London, UK, with plans to establish branch offices in Taiwan, Hong Kong, East Africa, and Southeast Asia.

Our Core Vision & Missions:

1. Church Planting & Global Mission: To establish and support independent, biblically sound churches and mission centers in the UK, China, and across the globe.

2. Discipleship & Equipping: To cultivate and train Chinese believers, theological students, and Christian workers worldwide, equipping them with spiritual fortitude.

3. Christian Education: To produce, publish, and distribute sound biblical curricula and Christian literature to pass on the faith to future generations.

4. Global Disaster Relief & Poverty Alleviation: Expanding upon our experience in Sichuan and Lijiang to bring Christ’s love to the poor in every corner of the world, specifically including East Africa and Southeast Asia.

Our Urgent Prayer Requests:

• For Legal Registration: Pray for the current legal setup and incorporation of TACEM Limited under UK regulations, creating a solid legal firewall to protect our global headquarters and upcoming branch offices.

• For Persecuted Faithful in China: Pray fervently for the immediate protection and spiritual strength of Pastor Huang Yizi, Pastor Wang Yi, and all underground church leaders facing imprisonment or severe surveillance.

• For the Founders: Pray for the health and strength of Rev. Philip Woo and Rev. Hannah Chan in our sixth year in the UK, that God will provide abundant resources and trustworthy co-workers to expand this end-times mission base.

Man may steal earthly assets, but the heavenly vision entrusted to us by God can never be taken away. Thank you for standing with us. Let us continue to bear a courageous testimony for truth in this free land.
